Vamos a South America!!

The week before I left my sister turned to me and said "Well we didn't think this would ever happen El!"
...ah thanks guys!

Thus began my 3 month journey around South America. I would be spending 2 months in Cochabamba, Bolivia at a christian mission hospital as part of my final university placement. The last month we would be doing an accelerated tour of Sth America.

When I told my parents that I would be going to South America for my uni elective they were less than impressed. They were no more assured when I told them I had my friend Tiff 5'1 to protect me.

Getting ready to go went without drama until the day before when Tiff asked, "Hey Elle, shouldn't we have some kind of travel documents?"
"Oh really? Yeah maybe hey?".
Not a good start!

After one hurried trip to the travel agent we were on our way to Sydney. Here we had an overnight stop and decided to take a trip into Circular Quay where we could set our eyes on some Australian icons before we left the country. We sat by the harbour and ate our last Aussie meal of fish and chips!
